Developing a novel synergistic biotherapeutic for
treatment of cancer
chemotherapy-induced neutropenia: Cancer
chemotherapy-induced neutropenia (CCIN) remains challenging with substantial
morbidity and mortality. We are seeking a novel synergistic therapy for
treatment of CCIN, which can generate sufficient numbers of functional
neutrophils capable of reducing CCIN and CCIN-associated infection and mortality. Identifying biomarkers of
functional neutrophils: To date, there have no biomarkers that can support the assessment of neutrophil-dependent innate immunity against infection. By using creative science and unconventional tools, TA leads a global scale approach to identifying useful biomarkers of functional neutrophils. These identified biomarkers can predict the severity and clinical course of neutrophil-related infectious diseases, as well as monitor the efficacy of clinical treatment. |
